The aura is the energy field around the physical body, a mass of colour and shape which changes with every thought and emotion. Each person?s aura is as unique as a fingerprint.
Each colour has a meaning in the aura.
A light shade and a bright colour mean you are healthy and strong. Sick or depressed people have heavy dark auras full of grey or black patches. A happy person will be surrounded by pale, beautiful blues and greens.
An angry person throws out red sparks. Discoloured reds are stress or tension but a strong good red is passion, energy and vitality.
People with a lot of red are very active, dynamic, tend to be physically fit and go-getters.
Orange is an ambitious colour. People with orange are high achievers and very good at mixing with others. They have a lot of enthusiasm and energy.
Green is a healing colour. Those who have a lot of green can be good healers. It is also the colour of growth and progress.
Blue is peace and serenity. A pale sky blue is peace and harmony with everything. Dark blue shows depression but bright blues are happy and relaxed. When a person is at peace, the aura will be filled with a beautiful sky blue.
Pink is a cheerful colour - vibrant and full of happiness. Pink indicates the person is full of life and enthusiasm. Pink is the colour of love and a deeper shade of pink is love for humanity in general.
Yellow is the mental color. Logical, analytic people have a lot of yellow.
Anyone whose work is mainly mental, who needs concentration and thinking, will have a rich yellow aura.
Deep purple is highly spiritual and a leaning towards unusual and psychic subjects. Glowing white is a lovely colour to have, full of serenity and harmony within.
Gold is rare and usually found only on those who have achieved the highest spiritual levels.
How do you see your aura?
Seeing the aura takes a lot of time and practice. Not everyone can see auras, but you don?t have to see the aura to understand the power of colour. The colours that you prefer are often the ones in your aura.
The inner aura surrounds the skin and can be seen as a bright white surrounding the body, about half an inch around.
You need a white featureless background to see it. Look at your hand against a white surface, or a leaf against the sky.
Relax and de-focus your eyes as if you are dreamily gazing in the distance. Do not look at your hand, look an inch away from it. Without straining your eyes, look at the space away from your hand and you should be able to see a bright white outline very quickly. This is the layer of the aura closest to the body. Keep looking and you may even see colours. This is the beginning of auric sight.
