Is ‘Grey’s haunted? Plus, MerDer wedding and Heigl speaks
Is ‘Grey’s haunted?
There’s something spooky going on with Grey’s Anatomy, and it’s not just the creepy ghost sex Izzie (Katherine Heigl) was having with Denny (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Psychic to the Stars Nikki told FoxNews.com that she believes a ghost could be haunting the set of the ABC medical drama.
“I believe there is a serious negative energy on that set,” she said. “It’s not a curse, because those don’t really exist, but there is a hostile force at the location of their filming."
It certainly seems like there’s something bad in the air – last week T.R. Knight was involved in a three-car accident in Hollywood, and yesterday news broke that ex cast member Isaiah Washington will be evicted due to nearly $100,000 in unpaid rent.
And then there’s Aasha Davis’ sister, who has been missing for six weeks.
“Someone in the cast, maybe Mr. Washington, brought negativity from [his] past onto the set,” said Nikki. “I believe there is a ghost … I’m seeing that as we speak. I see a heavyset man, balding … he may have been a janitor or facilities manager who worked in the area in the past.”
If the ghost isn’t addressed soon, Nikki claims more misfortune will befall the show. “They need to change things on set immediately … I am seeing a fire at a home, or Sandra Oh on crutches.”
MerDer's wedding day announced
Save the date: Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes has proclaimed May 7 the day that Meredith and Derek will wed. Kinda. At a party celebrating the filming of the show’s 100th episode, Rhimes said the instalment will air May 7 — and could feature MerDer’s wedding.
"The only thing I'll tell you about the 100th [episode] is that it takes place on Meredith and Derek's wedding day," she told The Associated Press. "That's big, and that's all I'm going to say."
Rhimes has previously claimed that the wedding happening near the season's end would be a "surprise." Hmm … so does that mean a surprise wedding or a surprise short engagement or even a surprise twist resulting in another couple walking down the isle?
Heigl responds to exit rumours
After weeks of speculation that Heigl will leave Grey’s Anatomy, the actress has finally addressed the rumours – and she’s staying as long as the show will have her, reports The New York Post.
"I was assuming that at one point and I got a lot of shrugged shoulders and shakes of the head, so I don't know if that's a yes or a no. No one will tell me and I don't know how this is going to go," Heigl told the publication.
"I don't know if I live or die. I don't know how Izzie fares," said the actress, who's character is suffering from a brain tumour. If Izzie remains part of the Grey’s landscape, Heigl said, "I'm there," adding that the set is “one of my favourite places to be."
That’s assuming the aforementioned ghost isn’t up to its tricks.
